Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Gardner called the meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to order at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> 3. Consent Agenda <br /> 3.1. CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 3.2. PAYMENT OF BILLS <br /> 3.3. FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> 3.4. LIBRARY REPORT <br /> 3.5. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS <br /> 3.6. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS MINUTES <br /> 3.7. ANNUAL CONTRACT RENEWALS <br /> 3.8. QUARTERLY UTILITY BILLING ADJUSTMENT REPORT <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVES TO APPROVE THE CONSENT <br /> AGENDA, COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIES 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> Jean Hauram is present and asks the Council what happened to the bus service <br /> that was previously provided in the City of Pequot Lakes. She stresses how <br /> much of a benefit the service was, especially to our older community members. <br /> Mayor Gardner responds stating that was a county run program and if he can <br /> recall it was a funding issue as well as a shortage of drivers that caused the <br /> service to end. <br /> Ms. Hauram says secondly, she has heard the rumors of the City of Breezy Point <br /> looking to build a new City Hall. She asks if we, as the City of Pequot Lakes, are <br /> going to let them annex the Landis Gyr property as it has been rumored. Mayor <br /> Gardner says Breezy Point has not actually come to us as a Council yet. Council <br /> member Pederson expands on the topic stating that nothing regarding the rumor <br />
