City Council Minutes <br />August 7, 2023 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />10.4 City Endorsement for Grant Request — CR 11 <br />Mr. Spiczka said the County is studying a way to make it safer on County Road 11 at <br />EagleView School. He said they are applying for a grant from the Rural and Tribal <br />Assistance Pilot Program to put something at that intersection to make it safer. He said <br />the County is requesting a letter of endorsement from the Council. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MADE A MOTION TO SUBMIT A LETTER OF <br />ENDORSEMENT TO CROW WING COUNTY IN SUPPPORT OF APPLYING FOR THE <br />RURAL AND TRIBAL ASSISTACE PILOT PROGRAM GRANT TO MAKE THE <br />EAGLEVIEW SCHOOL INTERSECTION SAFER. COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />10.5 2023 Audit Summary <br />Rich Spiczka stated staff chose to attach the summary for the Council's review instead <br />of having the auditors come in and do a presentation as they have done in the past. He <br />said we are not looking for approval tonight. He said any questions can be sent to City <br />staff or directly to Ryan Schmidt at Schlenner Wenner. He said we will bring the audit <br />froward in September for approval. <br />11. Other Business <br />No other business. <br />12. Adioumment <br />There being no further business, MAYOR GARDNER MOVED TO ADJOURN. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SELLS SECONDED THE MOTION.
