City Council Minutes <br /> April 7, 2015 <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Council Member Pederson handed out photos of restroom designs. The <br /> Council reviewed the designs. The Council requested Tim Houle to <br /> provide a design proposal based on the third drawing on the left side of <br /> the second page. Tim Houle requested a small committee to assist in the <br /> design process if needed. Council Member Karr volunteered and indicated <br /> he would have a Park Commissioner assist. <br /> The Council reviewed the funding options spreadsheet to pay for the <br /> structure. It was the consensus of the Council to consider funding options <br /> when the bids are received as they would have a better indication of cost. <br /> 9.2. Assign $3,500 to Trailside Fencing <br /> The Clerk noted that Lakes State Bank has donated $3,500 to the City's <br /> General Fund. Council Member Karr stated that the Park Commission is <br /> recommending to assign the money for fencing at Trailside Park. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO ASSIGN THE $3,500 <br /> DONATION TO THE TRAILSIDE PARK PLAYGROUND FENCING <br /> PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.3. Handicap Parking Spaces <br /> Mike Loven informed the Council that the City has received a request from <br /> Hopkins Health and Wellness and Snap Fitness to locate two handicap <br /> parking stalls in front of their building. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE GETTING <br /> QUOTES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A DOUBLE HANDICAP <br /> PARKING SPACE WITH A RAMP IN FRONT OF THE MAIN DOOR AT <br /> HOPKINS HEALTH AND WELLNESS AND SNAP FITNESS. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br /> 0. <br /> 9.4. Akerson Road Repair <br /> Mike Loven requested the Council to approve a quote to repair a flooded <br /> section of Akerson Road. He also requested the Council to waive the two <br /> quote policy because Anderson Brothers has property located adjacent to <br /> Akerson Road. <br />
