City Council Minutes April 7, 2015 Page 6 of 8 COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. Council Member Pederson handed out photos of restroom designs. The Council reviewed the designs. The Council requested Tim Houle to provide a design proposal based on the third drawing on the left side of the second page. Tim Houle requested a small committee to assist in the design process if needed. Council Member Karr volunteered and indicated he would have a Park Commissioner assist. The Council reviewed the funding options spreadsheet to pay for the structure. It was the consensus of the Council to consider funding options when the bids are received as they would have a better indication of cost. 9.2. Assign $3,500 to Trailside Fencing The Clerk noted that Lakes State Bank has donated $3,500 to the City's General Fund. Council Member Karr stated that the Park Commission is recommending to assign the money for fencing at Trailside Park. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO ASSIGN THE $3,500 DONATION TO THE TRAILSIDE PARK PLAYGROUND FENCING PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 9.3. Handicap Parking Spaces Mike Loven informed the Council that the City has received a request from Hopkins Health and Wellness and Snap Fitness to locate two handicap parking stalls in front of their building. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE GETTING QUOTES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A DOUBLE HANDICAP PARKING SPACE WITH A RAMP IN FRONT OF THE MAIN DOOR AT HOPKINS HEALTH AND WELLNESS AND SNAP FITNESS. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- 0. 9.4. Akerson Road Repair Mike Loven requested the Council to approve a quote to repair a flooded section of Akerson Road. He also requested the Council to waive the two quote policy because Anderson Brothers has property located adjacent to Akerson Road.
