After the Council selects the finalists, they will be fully researched so all the necessary hiring <br /> information will be available prior to the Council making a decision. Communication with the <br /> City Council and staff is a high priority, so in addition to Gary Weiers being on site regularly, <br /> the City Council will receive weekly email updates and he will always be available for <br /> questions. <br /> SERVICE TEAM <br /> Gary Weiers <br /> Our team will be led by Gary Weiers. He joined DDA in 2013 after completing over 20 years <br /> of County government management experience, the last 11 years as County Administrator in <br /> Rice County. Prior to becoming Administrator, Gary served as the Social Service Department <br /> Director in Rice County and worked as a Social Service Supervisor in Mower and Sherburne <br /> Counties. Gary received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of St. Thomas and has <br /> honed his skills by working his way up from an entry level social worker position to be the <br /> head of a $50 million organization with over 350 employees. <br /> { <br /> Gary will be assisted by associate Shannon Sweeney -Gary Weiers has done a fantastic job for <br /> and firm president David Drown, but the vast majority us. He communicated with us <br /> of work will be directly performed by Gary. It is likely throughout the process and kept it <br /> that Gary will be the only member of the firm that you moving forward. In addition, Shannon has conducted Administrator searches and will <br /> provide professional consultation to Gary throughout the search. <br /> David Drown <br /> David Drown is the President of DDA and founded the company 18 years ago to provide a <br /> wide array of services in a cost effective, efficient and professional manner. DDA was <br /> founded to enhance the quality of services to cities and counties in Minnesota. The vast <br /> majority of our work is done in outstate Minnesota, and as a result, we have a deep <br /> understanding of the unique needs of rural Minnesota.
