Mr. <br />Lottman said they learned a lot from him. He says they are continuing to find <br />local builders that do quality work to establish workforce housing. <br /> Mr. Lottman states they are currently working with BLADEC on developing a <br />website for the EDC for marketing purposes, etc. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lottman says the 371 billboard will be on their EDC agenda next month. <br />They were unable to move forward as they did not have a quorum at the last <br />meeting. Mayor Gardner asks whether they have a plan to work with both sides <br />of the sign. Mr. Lottman said currently they are only working with one side but in <br />the future, they would be looking to complete and have a plan for both sides. <br /> <br />6. Planning & Zoning <br /> <br />6.1 Zoning Administrator’s Monthly Report <br /> <br /> Report is provided for review. Mayor Gardner comments that this report is much <br />more informative than it has been previously, and he appreciates the <br />thoroughness of the reports. <br /> <br />7. Police <br /> <br />8.1 Police Department Report <br /> <br /> Report provided. <br /> <br />8.2 SRO Update <br /> <br /> Chief Mike Davis says the House voted on the new wording of the bill to get it <br />back to similar wording to what it was previously, and it did pass. It was a strong <br />majority vote. It will now be sent to the Senate, for them to vote on it. It is <br />anticipated it should pass there and then would go to the Governor to sign. The <br />timeline would put it close to August before it is complete. It is promising that we <br />will be able to put an SRO back in the school at the beginning of the 2024-2025 <br />school year. <br /> <br />8.3 Officer Resignation <br /> <br /> Mayor Gardner states Officer Hopps has turned in his resignation. Chief Davis <br />updates that he desires to remain on the part-time roster. However, we will not <br />know the status of this until he is off probation with his new employer to verify <br />their approval of his secondary employment. Mayor Gardner acknowledges the
