PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION MINUTES <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2022 <br />CITY HALL <br /> <br /> <br />Members Present: Commissioners Boucher, Churack, Adams, Simar, Clement, Lind <br /> <br />Also Present: Angie Duus, City Clerk/Treasurer; Julie Meister, Administrative <br />Assistant. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order/ And Roll Call; vacancy chair exists. <br /> <br /> 1.1 Elect Vice Chair <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER ADAMS MOVES TO ELECT NICK LIND TO VICE CHAIR. <br />COMMISSIONER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIES <br />6-0. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Adams called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Consider Agenda <br /> <br /> Commissioner Adams requests to add 12.1 for the Splash pad. <br /> <br />3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> <br /> COMMISSIONER CHURACK MOVES TO APPROVE THE PAST MINUTE <br />REPORT AND ADD THOSE PRESENT. COMMISSIONER CLEMENT <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIES 6-0. <br /> <br />4. Holiday Decorations Update <br /> <br /> Commissioner Churack updates that money has not been received yet by <br />Community Action. Angie Duus stated the City has not yet received money for <br />decorations either. <br /> <br />5. Bands in the Park Update <br /> <br /> Angie Duus updates on three spots remain available. Ms. Duus stated she did <br />not find 2023 evaluations of Daybreak and Rockin Hill. Commissioner Adams <br />notes the Chokecherry Festival is on the same date as the Street Dance. Ms. <br />Duus also updates that Dos Guys schedule and that it is already full for this year. <br />We will continue to reach out to Bands with whom have good reviews. <br />
