Mayor Gardner says he would like to see the cost of the sanitary sewer <br />and water being extended to the NW area. Council Members agree to have those <br />numbers before going to the financial advisor. <br /> <br />10. Administration <br /> <br />10.1 Administration Report <br /> <br /> Report is attached for review. <br /> <br />10.2 HOTGL Continued Development Process <br /> <br /> Ms. Duus updates that we have received both purchase agreements back for the <br />hotel and apartments, however, our attorneys would like to make some changes <br />and have a closed meeting regarding the hotel. They would like to hold it <br />February 7th or 8th at 6 pm. Council Member Pederson will not be available on <br />those dates but can call in for the meeting. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVES TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED MEETING <br />WITH LEVEL CONTRACTING ON FEBRUARY 8, 2024, AT 6 PM. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />10.3 Housing Trust Fund Resolution and Public Hearing <br /> <br /> Ms. Duus states the county has found out that due to our City having its own <br />HRA, if we were to have a project come within the City, developers wouldn’t be <br />able to use the Housing Trust Fund. Therefore, we would need to adopt a <br />resolution to allow Crow Wing County to levy our taxpayers to fund the program, <br />which ultimately would be $1 per year. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVES TO OPEN A PUBLIC HEARING <br />REGARDING THE HOUSING TRUST FUND RESOLUTION. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIES 5-0. <br /> <br /> Public Hearing opens at 7:48 pm. <br /> <br /> No comments from the public. <br /> <br /> Public Hearing closes at 7:48 pm. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVES TO APPROVE THE RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING GRANTING MUNICIPAL CONSENT FOR HOUSING TRUST <br />FUND THROUGH YEAR 2024. COUNCIL MEMBER LARSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIES 5-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
