QUARTERLY UTILITY BILLING ADJUSTMENTS <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED THE MOT`f MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> Maury Graham, 5988 North Sluetter Road Mr. Graham stated that he is <br /> leading an effort to get North Sluetter Road paved through assessing the <br /> property owners along the P/,-- t Lakes side of/the road. Because one <br /> half of the road belongs to Loon'L"eke Township, fill be going to the <br /> Loon Lake Township Board to/ask if ith have an objection with the City <br /> of Pequot Lakes improving the road and nit charging Loon Lake <br /> Township for the improvements. Re noted that it is his intent to get the <br /> road paved an assessed basisith the City of Pequot paying for a <br /> portion of theproverent. <br /> 5. Presentations <br /> 5 1 Chamber of Commerce—Fireworks Funding <br /> Jeh .Crawford, F quot Lakes Chamber, requested the City to contribute <br /> toward July 4iltfireworks. The total cost of the fireworks is $6,500 and <br /> the Charger has committed to paying $2,500 of the cost. Jenna <br /> requested the City to contribute toward the fireworks this year. She <br /> suggested that the City pay about $1,500 on a yearly basis. <br /> Mayor Sjoblad suggested that the Chamber also request funding from <br /> surrounding communities that enjoy the fireworks display. Mayor Sjoblad <br /> requested this item to be considered at the May Council meeting. <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br />
