MINUTES <br />PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION/ <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 27, 2023 <br />PRESENT: Chair L. Larson; Planning Commission Members Gonczy, E. Larson, <br />Boulka, and Mesa. ABSENT: Planning Commission Members Norton and Johnson <br />CITY PLANNER: Justin Burslie, Sourcewell <br />DEPUTY CLERK: Absent <br />COUNCIL LIAISONS: None <br />�. Call Meeting to Order <br />1.2 Roll Call <br />2. Consider Agenda <br />A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Gonczy, seconded by <br />Planning Commission Member E. Larson, to approve the Agenda, as <br />presented. Passed Unanimously, 5-0. <br />3. Public Hearings <br />3.1 Rezone Request- AJA Inter Galactic LLC <br />Burslie reviewed the staff report. The applicant is proposing to rezone an approximately <br />15-acre parcel from Commercial to Urban Residential. The subject property is adjacent <br />to property zoned Commercial to the north, east, south (also proposed to be rezoned to <br />UR), and Urban Residential to the west. The subject property is adjacent to and accessed <br />via Lilac Drive to the east. <br />Chair Larson asked about the current use of the property. Burshe stated a conditional use <br />permit was granted to construct two multi -family dwellings which are located at the south <br />end of the property. <br />Commission Gonczy stated the properties located to the east of the subject property are <br />zoned and utilized as commercial properties.
