I believe everyone was very <br /> professional on all levels. I don't see much room for improvement. <br /> • With recent deck permit all was GREAT—but our home rebuilding prior was not <br /> good—we didn't have good options with septic issues and spent lots of$$ on <br /> things should not have. <br /> • The entire staff was helpful and explained the permit process professionally. <br /> • Replace Community Growth (Chuck). <br /> • Can't think of anything besides Saturday AM hours for us seasonal types who <br /> drive up from cities <br /> • Dawn is fantastic!! She walked me through 3 applications! <br /> • Need to be more proactive in evaluating and updating regulations — "This is the <br /> way we've always done it" is a pretty weak way to address inquiries. <br /> Comprehensive Plan Implementation: <br /> A good Comprehensive Plan is not just a guide,but it is an implementation tool. The <br /> actions of the Planning Department are driven largely by the policies and <br /> implementation strategies adopted in the Plan. <br /> It is our goal for 2015 to work to accomplish the short-term strategies contained within <br /> the Plan. <br /> 61Page <br />
