RESOLUTION 14-25 ACCEPTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM <br /> SEPTEMBER 29, 2014, THROUGH OCTOBER 27, 2014. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> There was no one present for open forum. <br /> 5.1. Crow Wing Energized — Presentation by Cassie Carey <br /> The Crow Wing Energized presentation was cancelled. <br /> 5.2. Wellness Committee Presentation <br /> Nancy Malecha presented the Council with an amended Wellness <br /> Program. She explained that the main amendment to the program is the <br /> addition of a paid time off incentive for participation in various wellness <br /> activities. The purpose of the paid time off is to encourage and promote <br /> employee participation in the City's Wellness Program. Nancy Malecha <br /> reviewed the net cost to the City for the paid time off incentive. She <br /> explained that the net cost is minimal. <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned whether other incentives were <br /> considered such as a decrease in premiums. Nancy Malecha responded <br /> that this has not been considered. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> WELLNESS PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> Mayor Adams noted her concern that an entitlement could be long term <br /> and eventually cost the City a lot of money. Nancy Malecha noted that <br /> there is a provision in the policy that states the Pequot Lakes City Council <br /> can change the program and incentives from year to year. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON —AYE; COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER GARDNER —AYE; COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD— AYE; <br /> MAYOR ADAMS — NAY. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-1. <br /> 5.3. Certification of Delinquent Bills to Taxes <br />
