November 1. 2023 Study of the NW Area City of Pequot Lakes Page 3 Final Figures We would take feedback from the City Committee and update the Figures. These can be used for Planning & Zoning and future inquiries. Estimated Costs WiDSETH We will prepare a high -level cost estimate (aggregate "per foot" type estimated costs and percentage -based costs). This can be used for future budgeting purposes. Present to the City Council We will present the Figures and Estimated Costs to the City Council. We anticipate some feedback from the Council. We will take that feedback and prepare Final Figures and a Final Cost Estimate. Fee We have yet to set our 2024 Fee Schedule. However, we have incorporated estimates of those adjustments so that there will be no adjustment in our fee (short of a change of scope). Our fee to provide all of the above services is a lump sum amount of $18,950. If we need to provide services other than those listed above, we will first review the scope and effort with the City Staff and with the Council. Schedule Based on timelines to do the work, City budgets, and other City improvements, we understand these possible improvements (Main Street and Front Street; and maybe some within the NW Area) would be constructed in 2025. That might seem far into the future, however, it will come up on all of us quicker than we think. Thus, we intend to complete this NW Area Study as quickly as possible — as fast as the City Committee can provide us guidance. Aareement We plan on being at your November 6th City Council meeting to discuss this proposal and, if needed, adjust it so we can provide you a responsive and appropriate level of service.
