This will be scheduled by <br /> each local community team and Initiative Foundation staff. <br /> After Visioning and before Session Three training,each community will hold an Initiative Foundation <br /> facilitated meeting in the community to finalize strategic goals and begin to draft the community plan. <br /> This will be scheduled by each local community team and Initiative Foundation staff. <br /> Session Three—Managing Change and Resource Identification <br /> TRAINING TOPICS,LESSONS&SKILLS <br /> • Understanding and managing change <br /> • Mobilize local assets to accomplish goals <br /> • Introduction of local, state&national resources(guest presentations) <br /> • Increase community resources by identifying and mobilizing the assets of individuals, <br /> organizations and institutions <br /> • Overview of ongoing Initiative Foundation resources&technical assistance <br /> Session Four—Action Planning (held in each community) <br /> TRAINING TOPICS,LESSONS&SKILLS <br /> • Form task forces <br /> • Complete action plans <br /> • Organize for success <br /> Session Five—Annual Community Meeting (held in each community) <br /> TRAINING TOPICS,LESSONS&SKILLS <br /> ■ Report on progress on community plan *. <br /> • Celebrate success <br /> • Update community plan and funding needs for coming year <br /> • Reorganize for coming year, recruit new task forces and team members as needed <br />
