Mr. Spiczka stated that each entity that has a stake in 9th Avenue has a different <br /> opinion. He asked the Council if they want a joint meeting to discuss the project? <br /> Discussion to go past Krist Court as Pequot Lakes agreed to do at least that. <br /> Discussion ensued about different options for the road and maintenance on <br /> the road. Residents are opposed to having the road cutoff. Council <br /> consensus is to get all entities together. <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated Patriot Ave is set for chip sealing and get it restriped. <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated that each entity on Ackerson/Nelson/Wild Acres seems to <br /> have a different opinion on how to move forward. He said Breezy Point is <br /> moving forward on the reconstruction for Buschmann. He said the volume of <br /> traffic will increase once that road is done. He asked Council if they have any <br /> direction for staff. He stated that Jenkins township has been quiet and Ideal <br /> is willing to improve what is there. He stated Wild Acres and Nelson is part of <br /> Ideal too. He said the residents do not want to see trees removed. <br /> Discussion ensued about pavement and previous attempts to work on road. <br /> Mayor Gardner stated Ackerson should not be a part of this discussion at this <br /> time and Nelson/Wild Acres should be on the list. Mr. Spiczka stated he will <br /> reach out to Ideal. <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated the City we will be using the ARPA funds Council approved <br /> to create a new, safer and gradual entrance to Coleman Drive. This project <br /> should take place this Spring/Summer. <br /> 9.7 Carryover Funds Allocation Request <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated that staff is looking for Council approval to allocate <br /> $20,000 from the Roads and Streets Carryover($125,000 approximate <br /> balance right now) to purchase a new mower. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE THE USE OF <br /> $20,000 FROM THE ROADS AND STREETS CARRYOVER FUND TO <br /> PURCHASE A NEW MOWER. COUNCIL RONNING SECONDED. MOTION <br /> CARRIED. 4-0 <br /> 10. Administration <br /> 10.1. Administration Report <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated staff is shuffling duties and responsibilities and we should <br /> know more about how this will work after a busy permitting season. He said <br /> things are good in water/sewer and roads and streets. He also said Justin <br /> Burslie from Sourcewell has been involved in some conversations, but Tim <br /> Houle has not yet. <br /> Mr. Spiczka informed the Council that Colin Jacobs is doing a design for free to <br /> convert the space downstairs for the Police Department. <br />
