The house burn is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, starting at 7:00 am. The burn will start at 8:00 am. There is a sign up sheet if you are attending. The Chief polled our membership to check who will be available for fire calls this week- end when deer season opens. Most everybody is available. The Chief told us that Relm still has the five radios for the price of four sale going on. We still have $1400.00 left in the budget for radios. Engine 2 needs a base radio and one or two hand held radios. Selter motioned to purchase the needed radios, second by Bridge, motion passed. Election of Officers will be next meeting. Selter will run the election just like last year. Miison fire is hosting training classes for instructors and officers starting in December. Each class will be about 40 hours. Loven motioned the department raise the annual donation from the pancake breakfast profits to the scholarship fund to $500.00 in order to build the fund, second by Selter, motion passed. Wasserbaurer reminded us to not respond to a call if you have been consuming alcohol. A local department has a legal battle going on with a fire fighter who had been drinking and responded to a fire call. This situation makes bad publicity. t-- We congratulate Matt and Molly Zins on the birth of a son. The benefit for Amy Trumble will be at Whitefish Lodge on November 22.They need help if you can volunteer. Their will be $20.00 raffle tickets sold to raise money. Prizes will include a four wheeler, a fishing trip, several guns, and more. Zeimet motioned to adjourn, second by Evenson, meeting adjourned.
