Discussion ensued regarding <br /> the calculation of SRO contract amount, how long is the training for the position, <br /> and who will be the SRO for 2023-2024. <br /> Junior Council Member Spiczka stated that the SRO is a great resource for the <br /> Leadership Council at the school. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVED TO APPROVE THE 2023—2024 SRO <br /> CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $55,518. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9. Public Works <br /> 9.1. Public Works Report <br /> Mr. Spiczka presented the staff report. <br /> 9.2. Street Projects Update <br /> Mr. Spiczka gave an update on the road projects: <br /> 1. 9th Avenue has been re-paved. <br /> 2. Patriot Avenue is scheduled for the 11th & 12th of July for chip sealing and <br /> striping. <br /> 3. Coleman Drive residents are concerned about the environment, i.e., runoff <br /> from the road into the lake. The plan is still the approach to hook to the north. <br /> Utilities are a concern with the project. <br /> 4. Griffin Circle will be updated with a new entrance at the end of July. <br /> Council Member Pederson would like to see a discussion regarding Nelson Road <br /> and the 371/County Road 29 intersection issues at a future project workshop <br /> meeting. <br /> 9.3. Future Proiects Workshop <br /> The Council members discussed dates for a future project workshop. <br /> MAYOR GARDNER MOVED TO HAVE A FUTURE PROJECT WORKSHOP <br /> ON AUGUST 4, 2023,AT 4:00PM. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10. Administration <br /> 10.1. Administration Report <br /> Mr. Spiczka stated that all subjects discussed in the current agenda are what <br /> staff have been working on. <br />
