City Council Minutes <br /> November 6, 2008 <br /> Page 4 of 9 <br /> Mark Jurchen stated that the Sibley Lake Association is in favor of the <br /> grant and that the Lake Association will work with the City if needed. <br /> 7. Fire Department Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 8. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 8.1. Student Internship Program <br /> Gary Giltner requested Council to approve the student intern program. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT A STUDENT <br /> INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> Council Member Ryan stated that the program should have been in place <br /> prior to having students acting as interns at the City. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad questioned why ponds were so full. Gary <br /> explained that there have been problems on the gate valves at the ponds. <br /> He noted that there is enough winter storage available in the ponds. <br /> 8.2. Water/Sewer Reimbursement <br /> Gary explained that he has recently learned that two water/sewer <br /> customers have been double charged. He explained the history on this <br /> issue. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO REIMBURSE JM OIL $1,811.26; <br /> ($900.80 UN WATER, $851.91 IN SEWER, AND $58.55 IN SALES TAX) <br /> FROM AUGUST 2007 TO PRESENT. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO REIMBURSE LUECK <br /> PROPERTIES $5,132.59; (2,665.90 IN WATER, $2,293.41 IN SEWER, <br /> AND $173.28 IN SALES TAX) FROM SEPTEMBER 2004 TO AUGUST <br /> 2007. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> �.. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br />
