All members voted"aye". Motion carried.
C. Nonconforming Structure:
Mr. Marohn explained the lot layout on West Twin Lake and the options the new
property owner is considering. They could remove the existing structures and build a
new dwelling, or remove the portion of the nonconforming structure within the right-of-
way and do the 50% one time addition. The addition cannot be in the Shore Impact
Zone.
OLD BUSINESS;
a. Shoreland Conservation Design (Alternate Standards)
Ordinance will apply no matter what it is zoned, open to all zoning classes. Lake
classification would not determine number permitted. Docks and number of slips and
colors of canopies was discussed. Section 3.H was discussed.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Tom Adams, to approve the August
Minutes, as read. All members voted"aye". Thomas Link — Staff updated the Planning Commission with their plans to move
the garage.
2. Elaine May —Neighbor of Link; may have constructed addition within side yard
setback. Staff will follow up.
3. Darrell Lake — Mr. Pederson visited the site and there are 20 trees living, down
from 33 1/5 last year. The big birch clump is dying. There are no trees between
house and lake. There are some lily pads gr owing in lake. They haven't been
mowing all the way to the lake. Irrigation system is apparently not working as the
grass is not very healthy.
