She recommended two <br /> alternative dates; November 6th or 10th. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO MEET ON NOVEMBER 6TH. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.1. Accept Quote from EL Builders for Cole Memorial Building Roof <br /> Council Member Sjoblad indicated that the City has received two quotes <br /> for work on the front exterior entry of the Cole Memorial Building. The <br /> quotes are from United Building Center at $8,059.94 and E.L. Builders at <br /> $7,418.50. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE LOW <br /> QUOTE FROM E.L. BUILDERS AT $7,418.50 FOR WORK ON THE <br /> COLE MEMORIAL BUILDING FRONT EXTERIOR ENTRY WITH THE <br /> PROJECT TO BE FUNDED BY THE 2008 GENERAL BUILDING <br /> CAPITAL OUTLAY CARRYOVER ACCOUNT. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.2. Cole Building Parking Lot Work <br /> Council Member Sjoblad indicated that the City has received a proposal <br /> from Anderson Brothers for work on the Cole Memorial Parking Lot project <br /> in the amount of$40,195. He reminded the Council that the requirement <br /> for two quotes was waived by the Council at the July Council meeting. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad recommended that the Council also accept <br /> Option #1 which is the replacement of a sanitary sewer line from the Cole <br /> Building to the City Main at $2,350. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad discussed Option #2 of the proposal which <br /> allows for the replacement of the bituminous street for$16,200. Council <br /> Member Ryan suggested that there are many other roads that need to be <br /> improved that are a higher priority. The Council discussed the merit of <br /> saving some money by doing this option at the same time as completing <br /> the work on the Cole Building parking lot. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad indicated that the City Engineer has submitted a <br /> proposal for work in conjunction with this project in the amount of$5,650. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED THE FOLLOWING: <br />
