emergency situations. A blow up bouncing trampoline with Sparky the fire dog is also
available with the safety trailer. The trailer has audio and video in the command center.
There is a training program available to learn how to operate all the features.
We need to purchase a laptop computer for our audio and video in the training room.
There will be a Relief Association meeting on Wednesday, June 11th at 7:00 pm. Oaks
went to the Council meeting and they accepted our benefit increase.
The pancake committee is going to order supplies for the breakfast soon. Bill is going to
ask Chris Greer if we could borrow a cooler to store sausage in. We need to get bigger
plastic plates than we had last year. We will be experimenting with a new brand of
sausage, which is a bit less expensive. We will be asking retirees if they would like to
come and help us with the breakfast. We will pick up the table from Ideal on July 3`d at
3:00 pm.
Ideal is the only department to participate with us in the rodeo on July 3`d
We will tour the new Lonesome Cottage building next training meeting.
Tom will meet with Hunt Tech personnel to develop a new fire alarm system and safety
procedures.
The Exec Board met with David Wilson earlier tonight and he has met all his probation
requirements. He is now a full-fledged fire fighter with our department.
Mr. "O" asked about our SCBA's and how serious this issue is. He would like to work
with financing new air packs.
An Officer's meeting is planned after our Relief Association meeting next Wednesday.
Also, be sure to attend the Relief Association meeting as some critical financial decisions
need to be made.
SCBA's were discussed again. The big question is what brand to purchase and should we
decide on high or low pressure. Whatever we decide, it should be just one brand. We will
meet with sales reps from all the different suppliers before we come to any conclusions. It
appears right now the decision will be between Scott and survive Air. Please let any
Officer know if you have any opinions about what may be the better one. We definitely
want a chest strap, amplified voice options, economical battery operation, and good
service:
Oaks motioned to adjourn, second by Mike Peterson, meeting adjourned.
PRESENT AT MEETING: Peterson I, Casanova, Oaks, Loven, Szymanski, Crist,
Nelson, Nordby, Bridge, Rickard, Chris Carlson, Mike Peterson, Evenson, Schwankl,
