on the record drawing and the pipe shall be considered for possible replacement
or repair when any future connection is made to manhole 8.
Item 3 — Constructing ditching around the northwest cul-de-sac
It is acceptable to leave this area as presently constructed. Please note that as driveways are
constructed, care shall be taken so that run-off does not pond against the edge of the pavement
and create future erosion problems.
Item 4 — Construct by-pass lane on County Road #112
1. All power poles adjacent to the bypass lane need to be re-located to the right-of-way.
2. The by-pass lane has been striped.
3. A roadside ditch, while shallow, needs to be constructed along the bypass lane, as well as
the ditch north of the bypass lane needs to be stabilized and turf established.
4. These items will be considered complete upon the approval of the Crow Wing County
Highway Department.
Item 5 — Remove and replace cracked concrete curb and gutter sections as noted
The cracks in the concrete curb and gutter have been filled with the Sealtight Futura— 15. The
City of Pequot Lakes will monitor these areas next spring to see how they perform after going
through the freeze/thaw cycle.
Item 6 — Remove and replace concrete curb and gutter north of CB -4 to provide positive
drainage to the catch basin
It was agreed that Car-Col will remove the concrete curb and gutter north and south of CB — 4
and replace such that there is positive drainage. Car-Col will also remove and replace concrete
curb and gutter south of CB — 3 such that there is positive drainage to the catch basin.
Item 8 - Install 15" GS apron and remove sediment from sump area (Trailside Loop Sta
0+28)
It is acceptable to not require installation of the GS apron in lieu of the rip-rap apron that was
installed.
Item 11 — Construct rip-rap channel at station 10+00 left
We requested that the area adjacent to Trailside Road east of the spillway be re-graded such that
the shoulder slopes away from the bituminous. It was agreed to leave this area as graded until
turf is established on the retention pond slopes adjacent to the roadway. Upon those slopes being
stabilized the shoulder area will be re-graded to promote drainage off the bituminous and this
area will be seeded or sod placed.
Item 15 — Verify drainage on the northwest side of the south cul-de-sac (station 6+75)
We have verified that the bituminous in the cul-de-sac drains to the catch basin.
Miscellaneous Items
The two newly planted trees that would ultimately obstruct the visibility of the project stop signs
have been relocated.
At the beginning of Paul Circle there is curb and gutter that needs to have earth placed behind it
on both sides of the road.
