Trailside Estates Update <br /> The Council discussed the letter from Corky Smith regarding the <br /> delinquent charges due to the City. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO GIVE CORKY SMITH UNTIL <br /> JUNE 30TH TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OWED TO THE CITY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL AMENDED THE MOTION TO STATE <br /> THAT THE FULL AMOUNT OWED BE PAID BY JUNE 30TH AND IF THE <br /> CITY DOES NOT RECEIVE PAYMENT BY JUNE 30TH THE CITY WILL <br /> EXECUTE THE BOND TO COLLECT THE MONEY. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Tim Houle reminded the Council that the City has not yet accepted the <br /> project. He noted that there are several items on the punch list that are not <br /> completed. It was the consensus of the Council that these items should be <br /> taken care of as soon as possible. <br /> 11 . Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report by received by Council. <br /> 11 .1 . Speed Resolution for Nelson Road <br /> Mike Loven informed the Council that the City of Breezy Point has <br /> requested Pequot Lakes to install 30 mile per hour speed limit signs on <br /> Nelson Road. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br /> 08-12 REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION TO <br /> INVESTIGATE NELSON ROAD IN THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES TO <br /> DETERMINE REASONABLE AND SAFE SPEED. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11 .2. Request to Purchase Equipment <br /> Mike Loven indicated that the maintenance department is requesting to <br /> purchase a sander to be used on the old Sibley Township dump truck. <br /> This sander will replace the existing sander which has rusted out. <br />
