Oaks motioned to approve this purchase, second by Tasha Carlson, motion passed. Zeimet thought we should get a portable hard drive for the lap top, and put a price limit of $ 1200.00 for it. New business was that there will be a Relief Association meeting June 11th at 7 pm to discuss some certificate of deposits that are coming due. Bill thought we should pay D & G Towing about $300.00 for the vehicles which we have been using for training. They have provided us with several vehicles for all the extrication classes we have done. Wasserbauer would like four to five fire fighters to work with the medical EMT' s during a training session involving extrication on Monday, May 12th. Bill thought the pancake committee should send out letters to all our retirees asking them for their help during our annual 4th of July breakfast. He thought this would be a good way to keep them in touch with our personnel. The MT team is looking into purchasing a rescue Randy for approximately $800.00. This would be a very realistic rescue mannequin. They will bring prices and availability for next meeting. Selter mentioned there are a lot of chemicals out there on roadways now as the summer season begins. We should be very careful during any motor vehicle incidents and be aware of these dangers. Also as fuel becomes more expensive, there may be more t yp es of containers being used to transport it. Kirk and Liz are to be congratulated for their new baby girl. We also recognize Tasha for helping to rescue and save a woman's life in an accident she came upon in which a motor vehicle rolled over into a ditch and the lady driver was trapped in the vehicle under water. Tasha helped free the driver and restore her breathing. GREAT JOB TASHA There will be an Officer's meeting next Wednesday, May 15th at 6:30 pm.
