4. Will serve as professional staff advisor to the Planning <br /> Commission/Board of Adjustment by providing reports on zoning <br /> matters. Advise commission of training opportunities. <br /> 5. Prepares for and attends Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment <br /> Meetings. Prepares minutes for Planning Commission/Board of <br /> Adjustment approval and subsequently files the required recording <br /> documents with the County Recorder. <br /> 6. Will be required to work with the City Attorney to draft Ordinance <br /> Amendments for the Zoning Ordinance including the Shoreland <br /> Management Regulations, Subdivision Platting Regulations, <br /> Comprehensive Plan, Transient Merchant Ordinance, Demolition <br /> Ordinance, Individual Sewage Treatment System Ordinance and all <br /> other applicable regulations. <br /> 7. Will be required to prepare and administer departmental budget for the <br /> Planning & Zoning Department. <br /> 8. Prepare notices, supervise mailings and prepare publication for <br /> Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment meetings. <br /> `-- 9. Will have a demonstrated ability to prepare and procure grants from <br /> various sources. <br /> 10. Inspect, map, and certify all on-site septic systems. Mail certificates to <br /> property owners as appropriate. <br /> 11 . Work with the City Engineer to develop and implement the computer <br /> mapping program using ArcView. <br /> 12.Oversee the sewer maintenance certificate program. Notify owners of <br /> the need for septic system cleaning. <br /> 13.Serve as a member of the ERC Committee and assist the Sewer <br /> Operator with the initial ERC Assessments per Ordinance. <br /> 14.Manage Planning & Zoning related records including plats, property <br /> files, building permits, plans, sewer certificates and recording <br /> documents. Complete and provide State with required reports. <br /> 15.Tour City properties to inspect for compliance on a regular, ongoing <br /> basis. <br />
