Operations and Maintenance:
• The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and
submitted.
• On April 2nd, two 1" water meters were installed at the Wooddale Apts. which was
listed as a non-metered account.
• Rick Buer from AE2S was here to evaluate flow meters and the totalizers.
• Cascade Computers looked at our computer monitor, since screen turned black on the
window viewer and no data could be observed or acknowledged in the system. They
were able to restore the window viewer and now it is working fine.
• Quarterly samples for fluoride, nitrates and bacteria were taken and sent in to the
M.D.H. Sample results for fluoride and bacteria were fine. No results for nitrates have
been received yet.
• Re-programmed several water meters so everything in the billing software will be
consistent and all the accounts will read in the same way. There's only one meter left to
re-program, but the register head needs to be replaced and will require the water to be
shut off. This meter is located at Pequot Terrace so we need to make arrangements with
Earl Hemmerich before we can proceed.
• Water samples were collected for the Well Head Protection program and sent in to the
M.D.H. These samples included Well #4, Sibley Lake and Upper Hay Lake.
