Renew Mallie Law Office Contract <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> PEQUOT LAKES CRIMINAL PROSECUTION PROPOSAL AND <br /> CONTRACT FOR PROSECUTION SERVICES WITH MALLIE LAW <br /> OFFICE FOR THE YEAR 2008. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10. City Clerk's Report <br /> Report by Clerk Peine. <br /> 10.1 . Credit Card Policy <br /> The City Clerk noted that she is requesting the Council to implement the <br /> use of a Fuel Credit Card for the City. The company that offers this service <br /> is Wright Express Business. The Fuel Card would be kept with each <br /> vehicle. If fuel is needed for equipment, another card would be issued to <br /> `-' the department head. The Clerk noted that if the Council approves this, <br /> the Credit Card Policy must be amended to reflect the use of this card. <br /> Council Member Ryan questioned how rewards on the card would be <br /> handled. The Council discussed the issue of rewards on credit cards while <br /> purchasing fuel or equipment for the City. It was the consensus of the <br /> Council to include language in the policy that states that any rewards <br /> earned on a credit card while purchasing anything for the City would be <br /> returned to the City. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AMEND THE CREDIT <br /> CARD POLICY AS PRESENTED WITH THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: <br /> • CREDIT CARD REWARDS EARNED WHILE PURCHASING <br /> ITEMS OR FUEL FOR THE CITY MUST BE RETURNED TO <br /> THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 10.2. Request for Special Council Meeting <br />
