Operations and Maintenance: • The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and submitted. • Noted that one of two air compressors was not operating and had Moon Electric evaluate the cause. At first, he felt that it was on the air pump itself, but after running some troubleshooting on the air compressor in question, it was discovered that indeed it was an electrical issue. After isolating the compressor from service, it was determined that the starter contacts for the motor were the cause, and a new starter has been ordered. It appears that this compressor hasn't run for a while. • On the 4th, the two backflow preventing devices were serviced. This required re-build kits for each device and will be annually serviced and inspected for proper operation per requirement of the M.D.H. • Determined where the water plant filtration media level is at, since annually this should be checked to assure that the filter is optimizing in performance. Some loss of media is normal and since the start date of the plant, approximately 2"has been lost.
