By-law changes were discussed. The Executive Committee will approve probationary <br /> members when their year of probation has ended. The committee will decide if all first <br /> year requirements were met by the candidate. Their will be no voting by the membership <br /> any more. Also the fifth Wednesdays of any month will be a required training for the <br /> department. Members on suspension for any reason may not hold any officer's positions. <br /> The term limit for the Fire Chief will be dropped. Some discussion was conducted on <br /> some of these changes. Peterson II motioned to accept all the changes that were <br /> discussed, second by Warner, motion passed with all members except Kirk Larson voting <br /> to approve the changes to our by-laws. <br /> The annual Polar Plunge will be this Saturday at Breezy Point Resort starting at 11:00 am <br /> with a kids plunge and the main event will start at 1:00 pm. They will need at least 3 fire <br /> fighters to help. Zins, Cerise, Evenson, and Wendt will help. <br /> Our physicals are scheduled for Thursday, May 1st from 5 to 8 pm. The physical will be a <br /> 12 lead EKG, blood pressure check, and a urine test. Do not consume alcohol at least 12 <br /> hours before the physical. <br /> Mission fire will be testing with the ISO in May and will need all three of out tankers. <br /> There will be a practice session some time in late April. We should also do the test this <br /> year. <br /> We will have to arrange for some kind of a lunch for the hybr4id car class on the 29th of <br /> �.. March. <br /> Steve Rudek is working on acquiring donations for new exercise equipment at the Breezy <br /> station. <br /> Bill has a house and garage burn on Nelson Lake. It is scheduled for March 15th. We will <br /> probably do training on positive pressure ventilation and roof venting before the burn. <br /> There will be a hot dog, chips, and pop lunch during the burn. <br /> There is a work night scheduled for Wednesday, March 12th, starting at 6:30 pm. <br /> There is a storm spotter class on Tuesday, March 1 lth at 6:00 pm sponsored by the police <br /> department. <br /> Wendt motioned to adjourn, second by Rickard, meeting adjourned. <br /> PRESE3NT AT MEETING: Peterson I, Casanova, Oaks, Loven, Szymanski, Peterson II, <br /> Crist, Nelson, Nordby, Bridge, Rickard, Knutson, Mike Peterson, Evenson, Larson, <br /> Putnam, Selter, Zeimet, Tasha Carlson, Cerise, Wasserbauer, Wendt, Hayes, Warner, <br /> Wilson, Zins, and Council person Oraskovich <br />
