PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2022 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Chair Johnson, Commissioners Churack, Clement, Lind, Melby <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Boucher, Moeller <br /> Also Present: Jenny Peterson, Deputy Clerk; Jenni Gonczy, Splash Pad <br /> Committee <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chair Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVED THE AGENDA AS <br /> PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER CHURACK SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE THE MARCH 10, 2022; <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER MELBY <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 4. Paul Bunyan Chair <br /> Ms. Peterson stated that she received an estimate for the Paul Bunyan Chair and <br /> two benches for Tower Park from Lonesome Cottage Furniture. Mr. Anderson <br /> stated the chair and benches will be complete by September. The Commission <br /> will use park carryover funds for the construction of the chair and benches. <br /> 5. Bands in the Park <br /> Ms. Peterson stated the Bands in the Park schedule is full and she is waiting on <br /> 2 contracts. <br /> 6. Splash Pad - Update <br /> Jenni Gonczy gave an update on the fundraising efforts: <br /> • Cash in hand - $58,984 <br />
