12. Cocktail Room. A facility on or adjacent to the premises of a microdistillery
<br /> licensed under Minnesota Statutes § 340A.22, which has been issued a cocktail room
<br /> license for the on-sale of distilled liquor produced by the distiller for consumption on the
<br /> premises of or adjacent to one distillery location owned by the distiller.
<br /> 713. Council. The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes.
<br /> 14. Distilled Spirits. Ethyl alcohol, hydrated oxide of ethyl, spirits of wine, whiskey,
<br /> rum,brandy, gin, and other distilled spirits, including all dilutions and mixtures thereof,
<br /> for nonindustrial use.
<br /> 815. Exclusive Liquor Store. For purposes of this Chapter, shall be defined by
<br /> Minnesota Statutes §Seetion 340A.412, subd. 14, as the same may be amended from time
<br /> to time.
<br /> 916. Fraternal Club. A club which serves only members and their guests and which
<br /> uses any profits derived from liquor sales principally for sponsoring activities beneficial
<br /> to the community and not for the profit of any individual and which has been in existence
<br /> for fifteen years or more, or to congressionally chartered veterans organization which has
<br /> been in existence for five years. Such club, either of which in order to be eligible, must
<br /> be incorporated to come within this definition.
<br /> 17. Growler. Malt liquor authorized for off-sale pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §
<br /> 340A.24 or 340A.28 and packaged for off-sale pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §
<br /> 340A.285 in 64-ounce containers or in 750 milliliter bottles. The containers or bottles
<br /> shall bear a twist-type closure, cork, stopper, or plug. At the time of sale, a paper or
<br /> plastic adhesive band, strip, or sleeve shall be applied to the container or bottle and
<br /> extended over the top of the twist-type closure, cork, stopper, or plug forming a seal that
<br /> must be broken upon opening the container or bottle. The adhesive band, strip, or sleeve
<br /> shall bear the name and address of the brewer. The containers or bottles shall be
<br /> identified as malt liquor, contain the name of the malt liquor,bear the name and address
<br /> of the brew pub or brewer selling the malt liquor, and shall be considered intoxicating
<br /> liquor unless the alcoholic content is labeled as otherwise in accordance with the
<br /> provisions of Minnesota Rules, part 7515.1100.
<br /> 4-018. Hotel. An establishment, including a motel,having a resident proprietor or
<br /> manager, where, in consideration of payment therefore, food and lodging are regularly
<br /> furnished to transients, and which contains not less than ten guest rooms with bedding
<br /> and other suitable and necessary furnishings in each room, and which is provided with a
<br /> suitable lobby, desk and office for the registration of its' guests at the main entrance and
<br /> on the ground floor, which employs an adequate staff to provide suitable and usual
<br /> service, and which maintains under the same management and control as the rest of the
<br /> establishment and has an integral part thereof a dining room with appropriate facilities for
<br /> seating not less than thirty guests at one time, where the general public is,in
<br /> consideration of payment therefore, served with meals at tables.
<br /> 4419. Intoxicating Liquor and Liquor. Ethyl alcohol and distilled, fermented, spirituous,
<br /> vinous and malt beverages containing in excess of 3.2 percent of alcohol by weight.
