2. Alcoholic Beverage. Any beverage containing more than one-half of one percent <br /> alcohol by volume. <br /> 23. Applicant. Any person making an application for a license under this Chapter. <br /> 34. Application. A form with blanks or spaces thereon, to be filled in and completed <br /> by the applicant at his/her request for a license, furnished by the City and uniformly <br /> required as a prerequisite to the consideration of the issuance of a license for a business. <br /> 5. Brew Pub. A brewer who also holds one or more retail on-sale licenses and who <br /> manufactures fewer than 3,500 barrels of malt liquor in a year, at any one licensed <br /> premises, the entire production of which is solely for consumption on tap on any licensed <br /> premises owned by the brewer, or for off-sale from those licensed premises as permitted <br /> in Minnesota Statutes § 340A.24, subdivision 2. <br /> 6. Brewer. A person who manufactures malt liquor for sale. <br /> 7. Brewer Taproom. A facility on the premises of or adjacent to the premises owned <br /> by a brewer, licensed under Minn. Stat. § 340A.301, intended for the on-sale <br /> consumption and limited off-sale of beer produced on site by the brewer as authorized by <br /> Minnesota Statutes § 340A.26. <br /> 8. Caterer's Permit. A permit issued by the commissioner of public safety to a <br /> restaurant that holds an on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city. The holder <br /> of a caterer's permit may sell intoxicating liquor as an incidental part of a food service <br /> that serves prepared meals at a place other than the premises for which the holder's on- <br /> sale intoxicating liquor license is issued. A caterer's permit is auxiliary to the primary on- <br /> sale license held by the licensee. <br /> 49. Church. A building, which is principally used as a place where persons of the <br /> same faith regularly assemble for the public worship of God. <br /> 610. City. The City of Pequot Lakes <br /> 611. Club. Any corporation duly organized under the laws of this State for civic, <br /> fraternal, social, or business purposes or for intellectual improvement or for the <br /> promotion of sports, or a congressionally chartered veterans organization, which shall <br /> have more than fifty members, and shall, for more than a year,have owned,hired, or <br /> leased a building or space in a building of such extent and character as may be suitable <br /> and adequate for the reasonable and comfortable accommodation of its' members, and <br /> whose affairs and management are conducted by a Board of Directors, executive <br /> Committee, or other similar body chosen by the members at a meeting held for that <br /> purpose, none of whose members, officers, agents or employees are paid directly or <br /> indirectly and compensations by way of profit for the distribution or sale of beverages to <br /> the members of the club, or to its' guests,beyond the amount of such reasonable salary or <br /> wages as may be fixed and voted each year by the members or other governing body. <br /> Pequot Lakes City Code 2 <br />
