PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, MARCH 10, 2022 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Commissioners Boucher, Churack, Clement, and Moeller, Chair <br /> Johnson, and Commissioner Melby(5 mins late) <br /> Members Absent: Commissioner Lind <br /> Also Present: Jenny Peterson, Deputy Clerk; Nick Roy, Public Works <br /> Department; Cheri Seils, Council Liaison; Jenni Gonczy, Splash <br /> Pad Committee <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Vice Chair Churack called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COMMISSIONER MOELLER MOVED TO APPROVED THE AGENDA AS <br /> PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br /> MOTION CARRIED 44). <br /> 3. Park Commiaslon Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER MOELLER MOVED TO APPROVE THE JANUARY 13, 2022; <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER <br /> CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 4. Bands in the Park <br /> Ms. Peterson stated that there is still a vacancy on July 2, 2022; she has <br /> received 3 agreements back and have sent out all other agreements and is <br /> waiting for them to be returned. Commissioner Clement suggested the Mark <br /> Peterson Band and Commissioner Churack suggested LOLAH. Commissioner <br /> Moeller would like to see a Polka or Jazz Band in the schedule. <br /> 5. Paul Bunyan Chair <br /> Ms. Peterson stated we have not received any estimates for building the chair. <br /> Chair Johnson spoke with the original builder, and he is not able to build the <br /> chair. Mayor Gardner will speak with Brandon Anderson with Lonesome Cottage <br /> Furniture to see if he is willing to build the chair. <br />
