She noted that since that motion Council Members have been allowed to enroll in the City's Health Insurance Plan and receive $300 per month to help pay for the insurance. The Clerk noted that according to the City's Insurance Plan description, Council Members would not qualify for health insurance coverage based on the number of hours worked. The Clerk recommended that the Council make a motion that would state Council Members do not qualify for Health Insurance through the City. She noted that she would then draft an ordinance amendment that would add the $300 to the Council wage. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED THAT EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2009, COUNCILMEMBERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY'S HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN BASED ON THE GUIDELINES IN THE HEALTH INSURANCE SUMMARY PLAN DESCRIPTION STATING THAT IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE AN EMPLOYEE MUST ACTIVELY WORK 20 HOURS PER WEEK TO ENROLL IN THE PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. �- 12. Maintenance Supervisor's Report Report by Mike Loven. 12.1. Lilac Drive and Royce Street Mike Loven explained that the City is considering accepting Lilac Drive as a City Street. He noted that the road is currently owned by the developer. Council discussion pursued regarding the existing condition of the road and possible issues the City may face by accepting the road. The Engineer and Street Superintendent indicated that there did not appear to be any abnormalities in the road. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 08- 04 DESIGNATING AND ACCEPTING LILAC DRIVE AND ROYCE STREET AS CITY STREETS. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 12.2. Bergquist Drive Mike Loven explained that the city is considering designating Bergquist Drive as a City Street.
