Fellow fire fighters: <br /> I have made my decision to retire from PLFD after 47 years of service. I have been thinking about <br /> this for quite a while.My body and my recent medical issues tell me it is time. <br /> I have always enjoyed being part of the team and I will miss that.I think back over the years about <br /> all the great people I have gotten to know and work with and how fortunate I have been to be a <br /> member of Pequot Lakes Fire Department for so long.When I joined the Department on January 2, <br /> 1975,I had no idea how many years the fire department would be a big part of my life.The time has <br /> went by so fast for me and my family.I have been blessed way beyond my share to have such a <br /> supportive wife and children that have put up with all my issues during my service years.We did it <br /> together. <br /> My retirement will be effective February 2,2022. <br /> Thanks for all the memories, <br />
