AGENDA ITEM #7.3 <br /> City of <br /> Pequot <br /> Lakes= <br /> REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Tom Nelson <br /> Date: February 8, 2022 <br /> Subject: Firefighter Resignations <br /> Report: Fire Department received the resignation letters from Bob Peterson, <br /> Dave Szymanski & Neil Casanova. <br /> Bob is retiring from the Fire Department after 47 years of services. Bob has served <br /> as Captain and Secretary of the Fire Department (secretary for 47 years). Bob was <br /> a"staple" on the fire department. He was always there when needed. Bob was the <br /> "go to" guy whenever there were questions about past fires or firefighters. <br /> Neil is retiring from the Fire Department after 46 years of service. Neil has served <br /> as a Captain and Chief during his time on the department. Neil has been our"go <br /> to" guy for helping take care of things since his retirement from TDS. <br /> Dave is retiring from the Fire Department after 29 years of services. Dave has <br /> services as an Assistant Chief, Captain, & Training Officer during his time on the <br /> department. Dave has been our"go to" guy when it comes to working on our <br /> trucks. <br /> We thank them for their years of service. <br /> Bob, Dave and Neil will be greatly missed by the Pequot Lakes Fire Department. <br /> Council Action Requested: Recognition from the council thanking Bob, Neil, <br /> and Dave for their service to PLFD. <br />
