Adopted: 5/3/2005 <br /> Amended 2/5/2019 <br /> ADDENDUM <br /> Reserve Officer Unit Coordinator <br /> One Police Officer is assigned to this position is responsible for hiring,preparing work <br /> schedules,disciplining and terminating Reserve Officers,as needed.This position is <br /> responsible for at least 10 direct reports,conducts interviews,trains, hires,coaches, <br /> disciplines,terminates reserve officers, maintains monthly schedule and hours.Conducts <br /> monthly meetings and trainings and manage equipment. <br /> Towards Zero Death <br /> One Police Officer is assigned to this position is responsible for managing yearly <br /> schedule for grant funded over-time special enforcement shifts,document required <br /> training, review logs,audit quarterly shifts,and attend yearly organizational meetings <br /> and conferences. Duty assigned to one officer by Police Sergeant/Chief, all officers <br /> participate in enforcement shifts. This position conducts monthly meetings and <br /> trainings and manage equipment. This position is responsible for less than 5 direct <br /> reports,manages yearly scheduled for grant funded overtime special enforcements shifts, <br /> documents training, reviews logs,audits quarterly shifts,and attends meetings and <br /> conferences. <br /> Predatory Offenders <br /> The Police Officer is assigned to this position is responsible for Conduct quarterly <br /> offender checks, maintain records,submit required paperwork to MN BCA, and <br /> assist with investigation of violations. Duty assigned to one officer by Police <br /> Sergeant/Chief,all officers conduct quarterly checks. This position is responsible for <br /> less than 5 direct reports.Conducts quarterly offender checks,maintain records,submit <br /> required potential paperwork to MN BCA and assist with investigations and violations. <br /> School Resource Officer <br /> Patrols school property,responds to calls,prepares reports, maintains close <br /> communication with administrative staff on student and school issues,provides training <br /> and staff and students,operates an insures proper function of school surveillance <br /> system,provides medical cares,provides security at school events,and attends meetings <br /> with staff. <br /> S:1Administration\Human ResourccsUob Descriptions\CURRENT1PoIice Officer FT 2019.doc <br />
