Minimum Oualifications: • Must have an associate degree in law enforcement and be licensed as a Peace Officer in the State of Minnesota. • Must possess a valid Minnesota Class D driver's license. • Must have at least(5)five years of experience as a licensed police officer. • Completion of a certified First Aid course or certified as a First Responder • Maintain MN POST certification. Preferred Oualif cations: • Previous experience as a supervisor in law enforcement. • Currently employed as a full-time officer in the City of Pequot Lakes. Physical and Mental Requirements: Positions in this job typically require frequent sitting and standing, intermittent bending or stooping,kneeling or squatting,working with arms above shoulders and climbing. This type of work entails continuous and considerable mental effort and stress with over 70%of the time of a typical workweek spent working with moderate detail and ability to frequently meet moderate deadlines.This position encounters unexpected and prolonged 4 of 5
