City Council Minutes <br />June 3, 2014 <br />Page 3 of 9 <br />----------------------------- <br />Justin Burslie re�iewed the third amendment to the Wilderness Resort <br />Villas �reliminary plat. He no#ed that the Planning Commission has <br />recommended appro�al based on 9 fndings of fact and 25 conditions on <br />the conditional use permit. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELfMINARY PLAT OF <br />CIC 1079, THIRD AMENDMENT, BASED ON THE 19 FINDlNGS OF <br />FACT AND SUBJECT TO THE 25 CQNDITIONS OF THE <br />CONDITfONAL USE PERMIT BEtNG MET. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />GARDNER SECONDE� THE MQTI�N. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TQ APPOINT A COMMITTEE TO MONiTOR <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVIT[ES OF W�LDERNESS RESORT <br />VILLAS AND THAT THE COMMITTEE MEET EVERY TWQ MQNTHS <br />F4R THE FIRST SIX MONTHS AND EVERY S�X MONTHS AFTER <br />THAT, AND THAT THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS APPOINTED ARE: <br />TQDD ENGELS, JIM ORASKOVICH, JUSTIIN BURSLIE, DAWN <br />BITTNER, SCOTT PEDEftSON, AND ONE REPRESENTATIVE FROM <br />CULLEN LAKE ASSOClATION. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br />SECQNDED THE MOTION. M4TIQN CARRIED 4-0. <br />The Mayor questioned whether there were any consequences for cutting <br />trees down. Gouncil Member Pederson su�gested building an in�entory <br />of the trees with t�e possibility o# requiring the developer to in�entory the <br />trees. Council Membef Sjoblad stated he would like to see the trees <br />inventoried ar�d that the developer post a mone#ary guarantee that would <br />ensure no further trees are cut than are on the pfan. <br />,�ustin Burslie suggested that the tree issue be included in the developer's <br />agreemer�t. He f�rther stated that one of the conditions is to submit a <br />vegetative plan. He noted tF�at the Planning Commission will make <br />recommendations regarding the trees. <br />7.
