GILDNER PARK — Mini Park:
Assessment:
The land for Gildner Park was donated by Marcella Gildner in honor of her husband,
Lester Gildner. The park is located in a neighborhood setting at the intersection of
Pillsbury Street and South Oak Street. The park is approximately .6 acres in size, and was
developed to maintain its wooded and rustic character. Gildner park's amenities include
picnic tables, barbeque grill, benches and playground equipment built of wood to
resemble a fort.
Proposed Improvements:
• A small picnic table in the fort for children
• Sandbox
• Additional piece of wooden playground equipment
• Additional swings - possibly a tire swing
