SIBLEY LAKE PARK — Neighborhood Park <br />Assessment: <br />Located on the shores of Sibley Lake on Pequot Boulevard, Sibley Lake Park is a native <br />red pine forest. Approximately 4.6 acres in size, it would be considered a neighborhood <br />park. Amenities include a picnic shelter, picnic tables, swing set, playground equipment, <br />and a fishing pier accessed by a stairway leading down to the lake. The park is located <br />on a bluff overlooking Sibley Lake. <br />Proposed Improvements: <br />• Replace existing steps and side rails <br />• Cut brush around poplar trees <br />• Signage on Highway 371 to advertise the park location <br />• Horseshoe pit <br />• Add a bike path from the Paul Bunyan Trail to the Park <br />• Remove the steps by the old dock site <br />• Garbage receptacles <br />
