COUNCIL <br />MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Sjoblad stated that the Planning Commission should start <br />the research from scratch with the understanding that the Council does <br />not want flashing signs. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />6.4. Rezoninq Request by William and Ruth Habein <br />Justin Burslie explained that the applicant is proposing to rezone the <br />property located at 4143 County Road 16 from Forest Management to <br />Rural Residential. The property is approximately 25 acres and contains a <br />single family dwelling and six accessory structures. <br />Justin Burslie noted that that Planning Commission recommends that the <br />application be approved based on 17 findings of and based on the <br />following condition: <br />• Within three months, the private sewer system on the property shall <br />be inspected and the report filed with the City of Pequot Lakes. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE ORDINANCE <br />14-05 AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REZONE THE <br />HABEIN PROPERTY (290031202AA0009) FROM FOREST <br />MANAGEMENT TO RURAL RESIDENTIAL BASED ON 17 FINDINGS <br />OF FACT LISTED IN THE COUNCIL REPORT FROM COMMUNITY <br />GROWTH DATED JULY 1, 2014 AND BASED ON THE FOLLOWING <br />CONDITION: <br />• WITHIN THREE MONTHS, THE PRIVATE SEWER SYSTEM ON <br />THE PROPERTY SHALL BE INSPECTED AND THE REPORT <br />FILED WITH THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION.
