5. Ornamental bike rack- Bike racks are important for both visitors using the <br />Paul Bunyan Trail and residents that utilize bicycles. Ornamental bike racks are <br />both functional and artistic. <br />6. Stamped asphalt crosswalk- This addition is relatively inexpensive and will <br />contribute to aesthetics and functionality of the street. <br />The attached plan shows the location of each of the proposed enhancements and an <br />image of what they could potentially look like. <br />The Planning Commission understands there is a limited budget for the project but feels <br />the proposed enhancements to North Washington are important in order to accomplish <br />goals cited in the Comprehensive Plan and the Downtown Plan. The street design can be <br />used as both a template and a"showcase" for other streets in the downtown Pequot <br />Lakes. <br />�****�**��� <br />I plan to be in attendance of the upcoming meeting.
