EDC Minutes <br />March 16, 2021 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />Mr. Glynn stated Economic Assistance Grant has closed which provided $1.2 <br />million in total with 111 business’ receiving funds. The County has distributed a <br />grant total of $6.9 million in CARES Act assistance. <br /> <br />9. City of Jenkins Update <br /> <br /> Commissioner Luebke stated the City of Jenkins has worked with John Schomer <br />with the Brainerd HRA, and have applied for the Small Business Development <br />grant. The Snarky Loon brewery is currently open. <br /> <br />10. Other Business <br /> <br />Mr. Pedersen wanted to point out that the high school sports teams are doing <br />very well this season. Which is great for our community. Mr. Lindholm stated the <br />school has hosted a few wrestling tournaments that bring in many people to the <br />Community. Mr. Spiczka stated that Foley was in town for the wrestling <br />tournament and have complimented on how great the Pequot Lakes facilities are. <br /> <br />11.
