Call Meeting to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Tweed <br />2. Approve Park Commission Minutes <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER JOHNSON TO APPROVE <br />THE OCTOBER 8, 2009, PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />COMMISSIONER JURCHEN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4 -0. <br />3. Consider $500 Donation to Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway <br />MOTION BY COMMISSIONER JOHNSON TO APPROVE A $500 <br />DONATION TO THE PAUL BUNYAN SCENIC BYWAY. <br />COMMISSIONER JURCHEN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4 -0. <br />4. Gildner Park <br />The Clerk informed the Park Commission that the Street Department and <br />Sentence to Serve have brushed out Gildner Park. She indicated that <br />Mike Loven has requested the Commissioners to look at the work that has <br />been done and report back to him if there is anything else the <br />Commissioners feel should be done. The Park Commissioners discussed <br />the type of playground equipment for the park. The Commissioners <br />decided to make no decision on the playground equipment until sometime <br />in the spring. <br />5. Other Business <br />Faye Tweed informed the Commissioners that she is painting the signs for <br />the Cole Memorial Building. She suggested waiting until spring to install <br />the signs so that the garden area by the signs could be cleaned up at the <br />time the signs are installed. <br />
