General Review of the Zoning Ordinance —This was directed by the City Council <br /> as part of the 202o Work Plan. The above Ordinance Amendment for Temporary <br /> Commercial Structures was the result of a request by a Planning Commission member. <br /> The Planning Commission is currently discussing potential amendments regarding <br /> Water Oriented Accessory Structures and Guest Cottages/Guest Quarters as requested <br /> by a Planning Commission member. Several Ordinance Amendments have resulted <br /> when the existing City Code has been questioned. <br /> Review Future Land Use Map—This was also directed by the City Council as part of <br /> the 202o Work Plan and will be addressed when it is safe for Commission members and <br /> the public to safely gather in group settings. <br /> Work with the HRA&EDC to develop a workforce housing plan— Staff has <br /> reviewed the Crow Wing County Housing Study and anticipates direction from the EDC <br /> in the future. <br /> Complete the Downtown Plan Update—The City Council directed the Planning <br /> Commission to complete the Downtown Plan Update as part of the 202o Work Plan. <br /> This discussion was suspended due to the COVID-�9 pandemic.
