MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2009 <br />PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br />Members Present: Mayor Adams, Council Members Malecha, Nagel, Ryan, and <br />Sjoblad <br />Staff Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Jerry Braam, Chief of Police; Dawn <br />Bittner, Zoning Administrator; Tim Houle, City Engineer; <br />Chuck Marohn, City Planner; and Paul Sandelin, City <br />Attorney <br />Also Present: Stacy Kvilvang, Ehlers and Jennifer Boulton, Briggs and <br />Morgan <br />Call Meeting to Order <br />Mayor Adams called the meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to <br />order at 6:30 p.m. <br />1.1 Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mayor Adams led with the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />2. Consider Agenda <br />Council Member Ryan stated that item 5.1 is not on the agenda due to an <br />official motion by the Council. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO REMOVE ITEM 5.1 FROM THE <br />AGENDA. THE MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />Mayor Adams moved to remove item 6.1 from the Agenda as requested <br />by the applicant. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA <br />WITH THE DELETION OF ITEM 6.1. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4 -1. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER RYAN OPPOSED. <br />3. Consent Agenda <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />`..
