Liability 2. Setting a precedent for other private roads 3. Quality of the road 4. Tax Base if adopted Concerns 1,2 Minnesota Statute 160.21 allows for city plowing without incurring any adoption or liability and charges may be collected. See statute below.The statute answers the question about liability, adoption and paying for the service. Concern 3 In our request to the City of Pequot Lakes in 2017,we included the improvements we had made to the road to bring it up to County Road standards that are unpaved. In that report we included analysis that stated that the structure of the road was equal to or superior to the structure on North Sluetter Road. I have attached a copy of the request sent to the city,without the signature page and color photos as these would have increased the file size beyond normal email capacity. Concern 4 The City of Pequot Lakes Tax base for 2020 collected by Crow Wing County for all property owners on Wildlife Trail totals$18400. This number is similar to the following 14 properties in the urban part of Pequot Lakes with 7 of those properties located on Sibley Lake., as is the case for 7 property owners on Wildlife Trail.
