He <br />noted that City Attorney Paul Sandelin drafted the attached resolution. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 09- <br />27 AMENDING RESOLUTION 07 -28 RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF <br />PENALTIES AUTHORIZED BY THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFENSES <br />ORDINANCE. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />8.2. Resignation of Part Time Officer <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE <br />RESIGNATION OF PART TIME OFFICER ADAM MURDOCK. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />0. <br />8.3. Police Sergeant Job Description <br />`-- Chief Braam explained that the Job Evaluation Committee has reviewed a <br />job description for Police Sergeant. The Committee also issued points for <br />the position and slotted the position into the pay scale. The Chief noted <br />that Council approval of the position is requested prior to the Council <br />giving consideration to filling the position. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE POLICE <br />SERGEANT JOB DESCRIPTION. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.1. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />10. City Engineer <br />10.1.A.
