OR <br />Meetings <br />City Council Meetings <br />MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br />City Clerk's Office <br />May, 2009 <br />The Council held two Council meeting in May. <br />May 5.2009 — Council Actions <br />• Presented Volunteer Service Awards to three Police Reserve Officers and to the <br />Police Reserve Unit <br />• Authorized only the Clerk and Mayor to be signers on all city accounts <br />• Accepted the 2008 Audit <br />• Approved quote from Hildi to complete actuarial for other post employment <br />benefits <br />• Granted conceptual approval of Small Cities Development Program <br />• Authorized grant applications to FEMA for the Fire Department <br />• Supported a change in the fire contract formula that would use all fire calls in the <br />formula calculation <br />• Adopted a resolution entering into an agreement for the Safe and Sober Program <br />• Split cost to gravel one mile of Meyers road with Loon Lake Township <br />May 7, 2009 — Special Council Meeting <br />The Council held a Board of Review meeting to review the assessments of the current <br />year (2009) which are reflected in 2010. <br />Meetings <br />Park Commission <br />The Park Commission minutes are included for your review. The Park Commission is <br />working on a park brochure which will feature all of the City's parks. The Park <br />Commission toured the parks and is making decisions on the types of signs to place in the <br />City's parks. The Commission also is working at developing the newly donated Gildner <br />Park. <br />
