Meetings <br />City Council Meetings <br />MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br />City Clerk's Office <br />April, 2009 <br />The Council held two Council meeting in April. <br />April 7, 2009 — Council Actions <br />• Approved the AWAIR (A Workplace Accident Injury Reduction) Program <br />• Adopted an Ordinance relating to Shoreland Conservation Design <br />• Adopted a design review team policy <br />• Hired Joshua Herold as a part time police officer <br />• Approved a utility billing policy for landlords and tenants <br />• Amended the ordinance relating to water regulations making landlords <br />responsible for tenants' utility charges <br />• Forgave sewer charges for Earl Hemmerich due to a water line break <br />• Supported a proposal to turn back a segment of County road 107 to the City of <br />Pequot Lakes <br />• Adopted a resolution in support of the Highway 371 Project in conjunction with a <br />request for Federal Funding <br />• Awarded the South Oak Street Project to Dechantal Excavating <br />• Accepted a proposal from WSN for West Butler Street and West Woodman Street <br />Projects (advertise for bids to determine project costs) <br />• Voted to obtain costs for repair of Nickel Road, West Twin Lake Road and South <br />Oak Street from Pillsbury to Pequot Boulevard <br />• Adopted the Cole memorial Building Use Agreement <br />• Approved an amended lease agreement between the City of Pequot Lakes and the <br />Pequot Lakes Historical Society <br />• Amended the Travel Reimbursement Policy <br />April 14, 2009 — Special Council Meeting <br />The Council held a work session on April 14th to discuss the Highway 371 Corridor <br />proj ect. <br />Meetings <br />Park Commission <br />The April Park Commission meeting was canceled due to weather. <br />
